Made To Measure Products & Custom Orders
The look and design of our products can be customised to suit you. We can change the look and design of products according to the designs that you provide us.
Please make sure your designs & measurements are correct and accurate. Unfortunately, Stories In Wood cannot accept the return of made to measure products or custom orders if the reason for the return is because you provided us with incorrect designs or measurements. However, this will not affect your legal rights as a consumer in relation to made to measure products that are faulty or not as described.
Prohibited Activities
The content and information available on this website (including but not limited to; data, information, text, photos, graphics, video, icons, or other material) as well as the infrastructure used to provide such content and information, are owned by or licensed to Stories In Wood by third parties. For all content other than your content, you agree not to modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, sell or resell any information or services obtained from or through the website.
Resale prohibited. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, resell or exploit for any purposes, any product available or previously available on the website. The products for sale on the website are intended for personal use only except where permission is granted otherwise by us.
Shopping On The Website
When you place an order, you offer to buy the products for the price advertised and indicated on the website at the time of purchase. Check prices and product features before placing your order.
When a customer places an order, Stories In Wood will send that customer an email that aims to confirm the purchase and payment. This email confirmation will be produced automatically so that the user has the confirmation of the purchase and the details of the order.
We reserve the right to limit the number of units purchased by each user. Stories In Wood also reserves the right to limit sales of our products on a regional or jurisdictional basis. Please note that the purchase of our products for resale is prohibited. Resale of our products is prohibited.
Stories In Wood may cancel any order and not supply products if it is reasonable to do so and may change or discontinue the availability of products at any time at its sole discretion. If an order is cancelled, any payments made for products will be refunded in full. This does not affect your statutory rights.
All new orders are considered separately and each is treated individually.

1. Warranty CoverageStories In Wood offers a lifetime warranty from the date of delivery on all wood products purchased directly through our online store. This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
- Structural failures not caused by misuse or improper care
- Damage to goods during shipping and postage*
This warranty does not cover:
- Natural variations in wood grain, color, or texture
- Damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, or improper cleaning
- Exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture, or direct sunlight
- Normal wear and tear or aging
To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us within the warranty period. Include:
- Proof of purchase
- Photos of the defect
- A description of the issue
We may request return of the product for inspection. If your claim is approved, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
*To make a successful claim against damages incurred during postage and handling, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery of the product/products. We do not accept responsibility for items which may be left unattended at premesis beyond delivery/drop off by Australia Post or other courier services used.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Stories In Wood is not liable for incidental or consequential damages.
Use of Stories In Wood Hangers
The padding material used on our wall hangers & floor stands is suitable for most guitars & protects your instrument from being scratched or damaged while on the stand.
We have an extensive satisfied customer base whom have used Stories In Wood stands for over a decade to safely hold their instruments. We are confident that we offer safe protection for finishes in the display market. However, some instruments do have sensitive finishes such as nitrocellulose, which may require a certain padding to protect from long term marking. If you are unsure about the compatibility of your guitars finish with our hangers, please contact us at admin@storiesinwood.com.au so we can help determine if your guitar is compatible with our products.
