The Brand

The inspiration for Stories In Wood was found in 2012 with carpenter and avid guitar player, Liam Park, noticing a lack of quality guitar stand options for guitarists wanting to display their strings in style.

After a refusal to compromise, two years of designing, developing & countless prototypes, Stories In Wood was created. Following a successful debut on the local market the brand is now available internationally, shipping worldwide.

We are proud to say that all our products are designed & made in Australia, in house by Stories In Wood. All guitar stands are crafted from quality selected hardwoods, by professional woodworkers - one stand at a time. We share a REAL passion for both music & woodworking, which is why our stands are second to none when it comes to quality, function, and of course, looks! We always put these values first when we pick up our tools, because it means everything to us to create the best products for our kind of people.

Ethically Sourced

All timber we use is sourced from certified suppliers and importers. We value the importance of the environment around us and so we care to look after it!

Australia maintains a diverse number of native and plantation forests from which most of our timber comes. In addition to sourcing locally, we also enjoy working with exotic timbers grown overseas. Above all, this adds to the story of origin you experience in each of our custom made guitar stands.
